Who we are
Unbound Studio (Pty) Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email herman@uk.unboundstudio.co.za.
Personal information we collect
When you contact us through this website, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including:
- ~ Your name, business or organisation name and email address.
- ~ The service or project option you select and the details you include in your enquiry.
- ~ Website addresses and other project information you choose to share.
The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field. Google reCAPTCHA may process technical information about your device, browser or interactions when you allow Bot & Spam Protection.
When you browse the website, technical information and cookie data may be collected depending on your cookie choices. This can include device and browser information, pages visited, and interactions with the site.
How we use personal information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand the work you are asking about, prepare or provide services, and keep records of relevant business communications.
We use technical and usage information to operate, secure and maintain the website and understand how it is used. We use non-essential analytics tools in line with the cookie choices presented on the site.
We do not use information submitted through the contact form to send marketing messages unless you separately ask to receive them or we are otherwise permitted to do so by law. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Cookies, analytics and spam protection
WPConsent presents cookie choices on this website. The current configuration uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA to help protect forms from spam and abuse. Analytics tools operate in line with your cookie choice. For details about cookie types, durations and how to change your choice, see our Cookie Policy.
Google and Microsoft process information under their own privacy terms: Google’s Privacy Policy and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
Who may receive information
Hostinger hosts this website. We may share information with providers that deliver email, protect forms from spam, or provide analytics, as needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries. We may also disclose information when required or authorised by law.
How long we keep information
Saved contact form submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database and configured for automatic deletion after one year through a daily scheduled cleanup. WordPress may run scheduled tasks later if no site visit triggers WP-Cron.
This website cleanup does not remove copies of enquiry emails or service-provider logs. Email and analytics providers may apply separate retention settings.
How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it. You may also ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer lawfully retained, object to certain processing including direct marketing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding.
To make a privacy request, email herman@uk.unboundstudio.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator.
